Dr. Katie Pierce Defense

Congratulations to newly minted Dr. Katie Pierce (Voth Lab) who successfully defended her thesis last April 2. Katie is co-mentored by Dr. Dan Voth (MBIM) and Dr. Carrie Long from the NIAID Rocky Mountain Labs. Katie will continue her postdoctoral training at the NIH this summer.

Dr. Miranda Wallace joins the MBIM Faculty

We welcome Dr. Miranda Wallace to the Department! She is a new Assistant Professor that recently joined the MBIM Faculty. Her research looks at how bacteria and yeast can be harnessed to better understand and overcome antibiotic-resistant infections that occur within or arise from the gastrointestinal (GI) tract.
