We are excited to welcome Kelley Suskie, MHSA, FACMPE back to UAMS, and Internal Medicine is fortunate to have her guiding the department as the administrative lead under Dr. Yeh.
Except for a recent stint at the University of Rochester following recruitment for an administrative leadership role there, Kelley has been part of the UAMS family since 1996, starting with Pathology before growing into other roles along the way. But she’s thrilled to be back and is thankful for the opportunity to contribute to Internal Medicine and help guide the employees here to greater heights.
Belonging to several professional associations like the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), Kelley focuses on mentoring other staff at UAMS and pushing them toward their career goals. She wants to build a culture of openness, collaboration, and enthusiasm in the Department of Internal Medicine, and she hopes that other people feel at home here at UAMS, just as she does.
A responsive communicator, Kelley always wants to make sure that people are able to reach her, so her door is always open.
Beyond her work at UAMS, Kelley enjoys spending time with her family, especially by going to Lake Ouachita and enjoying lake life out on the boat. She also appreciates being able to travel and see her son and two grandchildren.
We’re happy to have you, Kelley!
