Why Chose UAMS?
For almost 150 years, UAMS has been educating and training health care leaders and advancing biomedical knowledge and teaching practices. UAMS is Arkansas’ leading tertiary academic health center and the state’s only Level I adult trauma center. In order to provide students and residents studying pediatrics with first-rate clinical opportunities, UAMS partnered with the state’s only health care system dedicated to caring solely for children — Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH).
Consisting of a 336-bed, Magnet recognized facility in Little Rock, the state’s first and only pediatric hospital in the northwest region of the state as well as clinics spread throughout the state.
