Brooke began working full-time at UAMS in 2019 and has progressively moved into new administrative roles over the last two years. Moving from Pathology to Internal Medicine, she is now the Division Administrator in charge of Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Hospital Medicine, and General Internal Medicine.
She manages the day-to-day operations of those four divisions and works closely with the faculty members and chief administrators. Her colleagues in Internal Medicine include Drs. Deneke, Wenger, Hopkins, and Berney, as well as Kelley Suskie, Natalie Moore, and Stephanie Herndon on the administrative side. If it involves departmental budgets, faculty positions, contracts, or other responsibilities surrounding administrative and faculty oversight, then Brooke will likely be involved.
Brooke loves to read mystery and thriller books and in a thrilling development she expects her first child, a baby girl, in early November, so the Internal Medicine family will be growing by one!
