The Honors Convocation for the College of Medicine was held on Friday, May 19, 2023, at the Statehouse Convention Center. Several of our DOP faculty were honored with awards honoring their contribution to the medical education of the graduating medical students. Congratulations, Class of 2023!
College of Medicine students vote each year for the faculty members they deem to be exceptional educators. These faculty are recognized during the annual Honors Convocation ceremony.
The honored faculty are denoted by wearing a red or gold sash over their regalia. Red Sash winners were named by students as outstanding educators. The Gold Sash honorees received the highest number of votes by students from all four classes in the College of Medicine.
