Committed to Excellence
The Department of Pediatrics is the largest department of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine. Our department is comprised of more than 300 primary faculty, 100 advanced practice providers, and more than 500 total physicians in the pediatric healthcare system at Arkansas Children’s. Arkansas Children’s Hospital includes a dedicated pediatrics medical campus that spans more than 36 city blocks in Little Rock and is anchored by a 336-bed freestanding children’s hospital. We also have a second pediatric hospital, Arkansas Children’s Northwest, located in Springdale, Arkansas, approximately three hours from Little Rock, that is expanding from its current 24 pediatric patient beds to 96 beds.
Where We Practice
The faculty, fellows, residents, and APPs that make up the Department work, train, educate and care for patients at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Arkansas Children’s Northwest and at satellite clinics across the state.
