Expert Pediatric Neuropsychological and Developmental Evaluations
The Schmieding Developmental Center provides comprehensive developmental assessments of children from birth to 21 years of age. Our team of psychiatrists, neuropsychologist/psychologist/psychological examiners, social workers, and speech & language pathologists work together to provide comprehensive evaluations that look at each aspect of a child’s development and generate detailed intervention and treatment recommendations as well as follow-up care as appropriate.
The assessments address a number of concerns including:
- Neuropsychological Evaluation (epilepsy, head injury, cerebral palsy, encephalopathy, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, pediatric cancer, autoimmune disorders, miscellaneous neurological conditions, genetic disorders, multi-sensory impairment, and other conditions increasing the risk of neurological disorders)
- Autism (evaluation and medication management)
- Childhood Mood and Anxiety Disorders.
- Mixed Developmental Delay & Complex Medical History
- High Risk Infants & Early Developmental Delay
- Tier 3 Learning Disorder & Attention Deficit Evaluations
- Concussion/Mild TBI Assessment and Management
- Tourette Syndrome & Obsessive Compulsive Disorders
