When I study medicine, I most enjoying learning about: pediatric emergency medicine and critical care.
Things that make me unique are: I double majored in Biology and Statistics as an undergraduate student and continue to enjoy statistics and mathematics.
I’m not only a doctor, I also like to: play with my Bernedoodle Isabelle, try new restaurants, bake, bike, and kayak.
To get myself motivated I think of: my grandmother who passed away while I was in medical school. She had hoped to see me become a successful physician and continues to be a major motivator in my life.
Favorites:
Books: suspense novels
Movies: Harry Potter, Finding Nemo, Elf, The Pursuit of Happiness
TV Show: Game of Thrones, This is Us, Gilmore Girls, Criminal Minds, Seinfeld
Music: Beyonce, Surfaces, Khalid, Demi Lovato
I chose the UAMS Pediatrics Residency Program because it’s wonderful and…: I felt welcomed by the residents and faculty that I was able to meet with during my interview, and knew that I would receive unparalleled resident-oriented clinical training.
