Caroline Crocker, D.O., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Neonatology section at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children’s Hospital. She serves on the UAMS NICU Safety Committee, UAMS NICU CQI Committee, and is the Head of the UAMS Tiny Baby Taskforce. At Arkansas Children’s Hospital she is involved with the Neonatal Intensive Care Clinical Excellence Committee, the Tiny Baby Collaborative, CHNC Project HOME, and Skin-to-Skin Care QI Committee.
Dr. Crocker’s primary research interest is in quality improvement, family-centered care, and congenital CMV (Cytomegalovirus). She has had several publications for her research to help improve the knowledge base for others in similar fields across the nation through journal articles, oral and poster presentations. She prides herself in maintaining optimal care for her patients with the most up-to-date medical practices available.
Dr. Crocker also plays a pivotal role in the community. She has most recently been a part of hte Blue Door Academy in Kenya, worked on the Helping Babies Breathe program in Zambia, and been a part of the Pulaski County Imagination Library.
