When I study medicine, I most enjoying learning about: The pathophysiology of diseases. It allows me to better understand symptoms that patients may experience, and how best to treat each part of a disease process.
Things that make me unique are: My kindness, my love for people from all different backgrounds, my passion for sustainable global health, and my ability to listen to all of a patient’s complaints.
I’m not only a doctor, I also like to: Hike, row, try to cook new recipes, read, and enjoy a good TV series
To get myself motivated I think of: All of the incredible people I get to work with and meet each day and all of the stories they have to tell.

I chose the UAMS Pediatrics Residency Program because it’s wonderful and…: The people left a lasting impression. I could imagine myself here in training, and the thought of working with everyone I met on interview day made it feel like home already.
