Home Town: Sorrento, LA
When I study medicine, I most enjoying learning about: how medical physiology and pharmacology impacts patients’ quality of life. I also have an interest in developmental behavioral pediatrics.
Things that make me unique are: I’m a huge New Orleans Saints fan. I’ve caught a football from Peyton and Eli Manning (Peyton is better). I’ve spoken to Senator Boozman for disability rights for children in Arkansas as serving the pediatric population with disabilities is extremely important to me.
I’m not only a doctor, I also like to: do home improvement projects, be outdoors, try new restaurants and travel with my wife, and visit family.
To get myself motivated I think of: My two younger siblings with disabilities. Witnessing them persevere through life’s obstacles is truly inspiring

I chose the UAMS Pediatrics Residency Program because it’s wonderful and…: it’s a program that truly cares! Throughout my interviews, faculty, staff, attendings, and residents made me feel the most welcoming and at home here. You can tell that they are passionate about the well-being of their patients and their colleagues. Staying with my wife who is a medical student at UAMS is also a plus!
