Hometown: Memphis, TN
When I study medicine, I most enjoying learning about: How amazing and interconnected the
human body is!
Things that make me unique are: I’m 25% deaf in my right ear, I’ve been on national television
several times (played flute in Mississippi State marching band), and I’m the first person in my
family (immediate and extended) to graduate from medical school!
I’m not only a doctor, I also like to: explore new places, especially the FOOD! Ultimate foodie
here, so give me all your best recs. You’ll also catch me and my husband outside at the local
park or trails with our Goldendoodle pup, Stella. We also love just hanging out with friends and
having board game nights!
To get myself motivated I think of: My mom <3

I chose the UAMS Pediatrics Residency Program because it’s wonderful and…: I absolutely
LOVED my interview day experience! It was very plain that the current residents are a family
and that the staff is tremendously supportive. The hospital was beautiful and everyone there
from the residents and attending physicians to the other staff care and are passionate for the
children they’re treating. Little Rock as a city is also fun with plenty of outdoor adventures,
delicious food, and close proximity to home!
