Clinically, she cares for patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders with a strong focus on adults and children with vascular anomalies. She was appointed as Vice Chair of Education Working Group for the American Society for Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (ASPHO) Vascular Anomalies Special Interest Group and to the Training Committee within ASPHO. Dr. Mack also dedicates a lot of her time to educating and has mentored more than 25 medical students, residents and fellows in various research projects. She has developed several curriculums including Pediatric Resident Monthly Education Series (PEARLS) which is used by all residents and has shown remarkable improvement in the ability to care for hem/onc patients.
