Associate Professor of Pediatrics
Kelly Curran, M.D., MA, is an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she serves as Chief of adolescent medicine. Dr. Curran attended Xavier University in Cincinnati as an undergraduate. She then earned her medical degree at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. She also holds a Master of Arts in Bioethics and Health Policy from Loyola University. She then completed a combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency and an Adolescent Medicine fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.
Dr. Curran is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, an editorial board member for the AAP’s Adolescent Medicine PREP series, and a Society for Adolescent Health Medicine member. She has presented research both nationally and internationally. Dr. Curran has won teaching awards for teaching medical students and residents. Dr. Curran is a frequent speaker on many topics in adolescent health—especially eating disorders.
