When I study medicine, I most enjoying learning about: I enjoy the pathophysiology of the diseases. I spend time on it as understanding the pathophysiology of a disease makes clinical management easier.
Things that make me unique are: My compassion for the less privileged and insatiable interest in medical mission around the world, especially in third world countries.
I’m not only a doctor, I also like to: Play soccer. I also follow competitive sports such as Soccer, Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts etc. I enjoy hanging out with friends, Road trips, Photographing.
To get myself motivated I think of: My journey so far – where and how it all started, how far I have gone and where I really want to be.
The hours I spend warm and cozy with a book I’m reading: Motivational books.
With popcorn in hand the movie I’m watching is: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Mel Gibson’s movies.
Without a DVR on my cable box I’d miss (or I’m in front of the TV so I won’t miss): Soccer games- English Premier league, Spanish La liga, Italian Seria A, etc.
On my iPod, iPhone, iMac, iPad, etc. I listen to: Music- RnB, Rap, Hip pop, Afro beats.
When friends and family come visit me in Little Rock, I want to take them: To see the beautiful Arkansas River.
I chose the UAMS Pediatrics Residency Program because it’s wonderful and…: University Program with good attending to resident ratio, friendly residents and staff, and a very conducive learning environment.
