Home Town: Crocketts Bluff, Arkansas
When I study medicine, I most enjoy learning about: the complex differences in the pediatric and adult populations, but also how you can take a little bit from each to create and see the bigger picture!
Things that make me unique are: I’m a doctor in a family full of amazing farmers.
I’m not only a doctor, I also like to: spend time with my wife Amy and our rescued Walker coonhound, Riley. I also like to do all the cliché Arkansas things: hunting, spending time at our family farm, and watching the Razorbacks any chance I get.
To get myself motivated I think of: my faith and family. I also think of the underserved people of east Arkansas and how I one day hope to return and practice there.

I chose the UAMS Pediatrics Residency Program because it’s wonderful and: the children of Arkansas deserve passionate and dedicated physicians to take care of them. I was also a patient at ACH when I was a kid, and I am so happy I could match at a place that has had such an impact on my life!
