Home Town: Little Rock, Arkansas
When I study medicine, I most enjoying learning about: Critical care. Any part of medicine that involves learning how to better take care of critically sick patients is particularly interesting to learn about.
Things that make me unique are: I love fly fishing on any of the many rivers and creeks in Arkansas and around the country.
I’m not only a doctor, I also like to: Play basketball and golf. Fly fishing and fly tying.
To get myself motivated I think of: The people in my life that are the most special to me and my relationship with God.
The hours I spend warm and cozy with a book I’m reading: A good murder mystery
With popcorn in hand the movie I’m watching is: Remember the Titans.
Without a DVR on my cable box I’d miss (or I’m in front of the TV so I won’t miss): College basketball and football.
On my iPod, iPhone, iMac, iPad, etc. I listen to: Mostly country music, but I like pretty much anything.
When friends and family come visit me in Little Rock, I want to take them to: All the beautiful outdoor places in Arkansas.
I chose the UAMS Pediatrics Residency Program because it’s wonderful and…: The wonderful people in the program. There is an incredible family atmosphere at ACH which makes it a wonderful place to train.
