Eighteen faculty members were granted either promotion or promotion with tenure at the annual Dean’s Day event this spring. Faculty members must prove that they have made substantial and outstanding contributions to the institution to be considered for promotion.
Faculty members are assessed on a variety of factors— teaching and mentoring students and trainees, providing direct health care, and pursuing discovery through research and service to the work of the College of Medicine.
