Julie Holstead, M.D. has joined the Department of Pediatrics as an Assistant Professor in the Section of General Pediatrics. Dr. Holstead received a Bachelor of Science in biology at Louisiana Tech University where she graduated Summa cum laude. She then went on to earn her Medical Degree at LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana. Following her graduation from medical school, she completed her Pediatrics residency at UAMS and Arkansas Children’s Hospital. She has spent the past few years as a general pediatrician in private practice but is excited to be rejoining the ACH family in the GPC. As a general pediatrician, she is focused on the comprehensive health of children from birth to young adulthood including their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
