Bryce Vance, DO, has joined the Department of Pediatrics as an Associate Professor in the Division of Adolescent Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Following medical school, Dr. Vance completed his Pediatrics residency at Dayton Children’s Hospital/Wright State University, where he cared for a high-volume, diverse pediatric population and gained extensive experience with critically ill and hospitalized children. He went on to pursue subspecialty training through a fellowship in Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. During fellowship, he led impactful research efforts—including a cost-savings HPV vaccination study for the Department of Defense—and trained more than 120 resident physicians across multiple programs.
Dr. Vance most recently served as the Medical Director of the Cadet Medicine Clinic at the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he oversaw clinical operations, mental health services, and multidisciplinary teams caring for more than 4,500 cadets. His leadership included developing walk-in care protocols, and improving access to specialized adolescent healthcare, including reproductive health, eating disorders, and trauma-informed care.
